Verruca treatment

What is it?

A verruca is a viral infection of the skin caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. Verrucas can come in all shapes and sizes as single verrucae or lots on one area called a mosaic verruca. Verrucae rarely hurt to push unless they are very big,but will usually hurt when they are squeezed. The appearance of a verruca is often rough sometimes with hard skin overlying and may contain black dots within it. These are small blood vessels.

Why treat it?

Verrucae can spread and get bigger. The hard skin which may form over a verruca can often become painful.

How can I help you?

I can help with a number of treatments. Freezing (cryosurgery), burning the verruca (applying acid), homeopathy or advising on over the counter treatments are a number of things to help to treat a verruca.
